The upgrade of CUNY's Financial systems into one integrated package is a key element of CUNYfirst. The Finance Pillar contains a variety of processes that are part of CUNY's day to day business.

The main areas of the Project focus on:

General Ledger - Repository of all financial transactions

Planning / Budgeting - Forecasting and tracking personnel, expenses and income

Procurement - Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Travel and Expense Requests/Approvals, Credit Card Management

Asset Management - Tracking of all physical assets of CUNY from buildings and grounds, to equipment, materials and goods and services
