Each campus operates an office of student life that assists students in providing leadership and direction to their student government organizations and the numerous student organizations that exist on each campus.
The mission of campus offices of student activities, and the student affairs professionals who staff these offices, is to complement the learning that takes place in the classroom and enhance the overall educational experience of students through exposure to and participation in social, cultural, intellectual, recreational, and leadership programs.

CUNY Leadership Academy Named In Honor of Ernesto Malave.
The CUNY Board of Trustees approved the naming of the CUNY Leadership Academy in honor of Vice Chancellor Ernesto Malave. Ernesto Malave was the vice chancellor for budget and finance at The City University of New York. >>
