Laurie Reilly is the Communication Director for Sustainable CUNY,City University of New York. Through Sustainable CUNY, Ms. Reilly directs communications for the CUNY Sustainability Project, the U.S. DOE NYC Solar America City Partnership and CUNY SustainableWorks, CUNY’s Commercialization Program for clean and sustainable technology.
Reilly is the author of multiple key sustainability documents and grants and is responsible for coordinating and implementing internal and external sustainability communications across CUNY’s 23 academic institutions. Reilly executes the marketing strategy and assists with organizing major sustainable energy events and presents at numerous conferences.
Ms. Reilly spent 18 years as a broadcast journalist and won five New York State Broadcaster's Awards as a writer, producer and anchor for providing in depth coverage on science, technology, health and politics on both television and radio. Reilly also created 'Innovate', in partnership with NYSERDA, a campaign designed to interest young adults in the STEM degrees; science, technology engineering and math and was named as a YWCA 2006 Women of Achievement.
