The public health professional who specializes in nutrition is generally employed in the administration of community nutrition programs and in work with public and private agencies that provide nutrition and health education An individual with the RD credential who has earned the MS degree in nutrition is generally employed in hospitals, clinics, the public sector, in local, state, or federal government health departments and in international nutrition programs.
